Ashton spent two years perfecting the »Mi Amor« blend, marking a new chapter for the company, as it was the first time they had used a Mexican wrapper. The lush and fertile San Andrés Valley outside of Veracruz produces these dark, oily leaves, imparting a rich flavor. While the vintage filler also comes from Nicaragua like for the »Base Line«, it differs in its composition to harmonize with the wrapper. In tastings, »Mi Amor« consistently receives high marks, especially its Belicoso format. It has been ranked among the Top 25 by Cigar Aficionado three times—a true accolade. The reasons for its fame are simple: It promises a premium experience at a very reasonable price, something that never goes out of style.
